It isn’t often that you get an Olympic hopeful into the studio with you, but today we had exactly that when Dave invited Andia Winslow to sit in and talk about goals with us. She gives us the athlete’s perspective on how to set, track and maintain goals and working towards achieving them. Some great insights here including recording all the data, reviewing it, and looking for the patterns there that you can learn from. And even beyond that, she gets credit for inventing the term “Business Disuse Atrophy” that I wrote about after recording.
Other topics include remembering to “Just Do It”, analysis paralysis, and focusing on smaller goals and successes.
Thanks again to Andia for coming in, and good luck in Lake Placid and beyond!
