With another guest host along for the ride, we dive into a discussion originally seen on LinkedIn about can you do Scrum in Sales? We are joined by Lindsay Bayuk of the Whale Hunters (Book they wrote here: Whale Hunting
)to provide some insight into the question at hand.
I provide some intro into Scrum and Agile and how they may match up to the revenue generation world. We try to find some of the things to align with the things that are key components of Scrum such as weekly iterations, deliverables, feedback cycles, team ownership, and what the client sees.
Dave and Lindsay jump right into the key things that I believe match up in the way to use collaboration with the client to build their requirements and what they are buying.
Lindsay mentions a great book to use as a resource, Mastering the Rockefeller Habits: What You Must Do to Increase the Value of Your Fast-Growth Firm
which recommends some of the same things that I talk about with communication within the team, and to the client.
Here’s to less winging it!
